Fred Grewe is simply a person who believes that God loves him very much. This love has been made real through a relationship with Jesus, the Son of God. The power of this belief has helped transform a frightened, angry man into one who is a more loving and considerate human being.

In 1971 Fred was “born again” at a Franciscan Friary while attending West Virginia University (BFA in Acting and Directing). For the next nine years he was very active in the Charismatic Renewal of the Roman Catholic Church. In 1980 he became associated with the Vineyard Christian Fellowship movement. Since that time he has helped to start four Vineyard churches.

In April of 1995 Fred resigned as pastor of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Melbourne, Florida to travel as an itinerant preacher.

Fred also trains people to be on Ministry Teams. Over the past several years he has taught more than 8,000 Christians to pray for people to be saved, healed and delivered.

Fred now lives in St. Louis with his wife Cyndi, their teenage son Elijah, and their dog McDuff. He is currently working on completion of a master’s degree in pastoral care at the Aquinas Institute of Theology, working as a part-time chaplain at St. Louis University Hospital and a volunteer at Doorways, an inter-faith residency for people with AIDS.
